Terms of use

Last updated:

These terms apply to everyone who uses rentdossier.com: renters who create a dossier and landlords or agents who open one. Rentdossier is provided by Rentdossier. If you use Rentdossier as a consumer, you keep all rights that consumer law gives you.

1. What Rentdossier does

Rentdossier lets you store your rental documents in one place and share them with landlords through private links. We are not a landlord or letting agent, we don't offer homes, and we can't promise that you will get a home. The landlord decides.

2. Your account

3. What you upload

4. Links

5. Landlords and agents

If you open a Rentdossier link, you agree to:

We may block access for anyone who misuses links or documents.

6. Prices and payment

7. Availability

We work hard to keep Rentdossier available and secure, but we can't guarantee it will always work without interruption. We announce planned maintenance where we can.

8. Liability

We are not responsible for decisions landlords make, or for what a landlord does with documents after they have opened them. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow such a limit.

9. Ending

You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example in case of fraud. When an account is closed, we delete its documents as described in our privacy policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We tell you about important changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.

11. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the law of that country. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can solve it together.
