Does the landlord need to create an account?
No. The landlord enters their email address, receives a 6-digit code and types the password from your message. It takes less than a minute.
Can I use the same link for more than one home?
No, create a new link for every application. Each link belongs to one home: the first landlord who opens it claims it, and every page shows that address in the watermark. Someone else who tries to open it is refused, and you get a message so you can send them their own link.
What happens after 5 landlords have opened my dossier?
Links you already sent keep working, so no landlord is ever blocked. To create links for new homes, upgrade to Dedicated Home Seeker: €6.95 for 3 months, paid once.
Which documents may a landlord ask for?
It depends on the country. In the Netherlands, the privacy authority says landlords may ask for an indication of your income first, payslips and an employer statement once you're a serious candidate, and a copy of your ID (with your citizen service number hidden) only when the contract is being prepared. That's why your ID is not shared by default.
